Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Media Buyer
Position Type: Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, M-F 8:30a-5p

-Assist in the distribution of information, tasks, and requests to the creative, social and digital teams as needed.

-Processing of monthly invoices and statements.

-Assist media accounts with monthly invoicing tasks.

-Collect data from multiple television and radio stations, across markets, weekly to cross-check buys.

-Support the department supervisor on projects including dashboards, Job jacket creation and revisions, collecting added value, underweight points, co-op requests, media calendars and recap PowerPoint presentations.

-Attend media meetings, listening attentively, taking notes, and providing feedback and opinions.

-Providing media research while speaking to media vendors and other station representatives.

-Acquire knowledge of the Strata Media buying tool, training will be provided as needed.

-Participate in the planning, production and monthly trafficking of television and radio spots.

-Additional duties and office tasks assigned as needed.

-Provide account service support including scheduling meetings, project management, writing proposals, reviewing documents and communicating with clients.
