Experience in deploying the most modern digital marketing tools and driving e-commerce sales, and qualified lead generation.  The Agency has offices in Portland and Costa Mesa, CA.

The Director of Digital drives innovation and transactions for national, regional and local clients. The clients are awesome. You will work with CEOs, CMOs and Owners. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to paid search management

  • Work collaboratively with the Account Director to manage client relationships as related to paid search strategy, team and performance

  • Ensure best practice and innovation in all paid search activities; ensure knowledge sharing across teams.

  • Manages and develops direct reports and is accountable for team development

  • Serve as point of escalation, identifying and successfully resolving problems in a client-centric environment.

  • Accountable for the achievement of KPIs and deadlines

  • Manage and optimize the performance of the digital marketing team, including goal-setting, development and mentoring of team members

  • Lead customer facing meetings on Digital Marketing, including effectiveness, measurement, optimization, and strategy

  • Develop, manage, and iterate on the customer acquisition strategy (B2C & B2B) leveraging digital channels (Paid Search, Shopping, Video, Display, Social, etc)

  • Manage marketing campaign performance and continuously analyze data to improve outcomes

  • Ability to guide budget allocations across multiple platforms (i.e. AdWords, Facebook, Bing, Instagram) for the use in single campaigns

  • Direct SEO & SEM programs: keywords, link building, and paid search campaign optimization

  • Optimize marketing campaigns and nurture via email, content, and social channels

  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through call-to-action, landing pages, and other mediums

  • Establish closed-loop analytics with Sales to understand how marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine the process to convert more customers

  • Regularly propose, test, and analyze experiments to increase conversions

  • Manage Digital Reporting and Execution Tools, such as Moz, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Zapier, and Data Studio

  • Marketing Automation Experience including designing, executing and monitoring campaigns for clients with experience utilizing in leading CRMs such as: Hubspot, Infusionsoft, Marketo or Salesforce

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Paid Search, specifically in a digital agency

  • Exceptional knowledge of Paid Search, market development and trends

  • Deep understanding of how Paid Search / SEM interacts with Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate, Feeds, Mobile, Social, and Attribution

  • Broad range of experience managing across verticals and direct response/branded campaigns

  • Experience in building, managing and optimizing websites for conversions, retention, and lifetime value

  • Google AdWords Certification

  • Knowledge of CRMs, native display, paid search, paid social, seo, landing page testing, and email marketing

  • Reporting creation and the tools associated

  • Managing a team with multiple digital marketing specialists, all working on multiple clients

  • Experience in deploying all facets of Marketing Automation Platforms and Campaign creation and reporting

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
