MBT Marketing Google Adwords Premier Partner Specializations

MBT Marketing is pleased to announce that our digital marketing team has achieved our goal of becoming “specialized” in all five possible categories for Google Adwords advertising. The “Google Premier Partner” status indicates that an agency has taken steps to increase Google product knowledge for one or more main channels, meets or exceeds client performance requirements, and maintains a healthy Google Adwords spend each quarter. Above and beyond the requirements to become a Google Partner, agencies have the option to work with their team members to earn individual qualifications by taking exams.

Proving product knowledge by successfully passing tests is one way to improve the agency’s chances of earning a “specialization.” Similar to the process for earning Google Partner status, client campaign performance is also measured. Here’s how Google explains the requirements for each channel.

Search Advertising: Demonstrated increased product performance and expertise in basic and advanced search concepts, including best practices for creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing search ad campaigns across the Search Network.

Mobile Advertising: Demonstrated increased product performance and expertise in basic and advanced concepts in mobile advertising, including ad formats, bidding and targeting, and campaign measurement and optimization.

Video Advertising: Demonstrated increased product performance and expertise in basic and advanced video advertising concepts, including best practices for creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing video advertising campaigns across YouTube and the web.

Display Advertising: Demonstrated increased product performance and expertise in display advertising, including knowledge of advanced concepts and best practices for creating, managing, measuring, and optimizing Display campaigns.

Shopping Advertising: Demonstrated increased product performance and expertise in basic and advanced concepts in shopping advertising, including creating a Merchant Center account and product data feed, and creating and managing Shopping campaigns.
